Reading Olympics

Reading Olympics

The students on the Reading Olympics teams (4th and 5th grade) were responsible for reading a list of 27 books. They could break down the list however they choose but they committed to at least one team member reading each book. They had several months to complete the reading and then participated in a quiz show during their library class. The team with the highest score over two classes of quizzing was titled the champions. The winning class received a trophy to display in the classroom and each winning team member received a medal! Great work!

Ms. Montemayor's class was named the winner of the 4th grade Reading Olympics before Mrs. Gilbert's class was able to finish the quiz. When Mrs. Gilbert's score was tallied, it turns out they were actually the winners and each member of that class each received a medal also. Both teams did an exceptional job at reading their list of books and the scores were very close!- CONGRATULATIONS to them both!
