Cultural Appreciation Night is Thursday, April 10th from 5-8pm at Mountain View. Join us for live performances, food trucks, free basket raffle, and hosts of 25 different cultures/countries. This is a free family event open to the entire community. The first 400 students receive a passport booklet to collect stamps!

Organized by our Student Council, our school donated or 6000 lbs of food items to help local families this holiday season. We are excited to be starting a middle-school chapter of Girls on the Run (called "Heart and Sole" for any interested girl in grade 6-8. The program starts the week of Sept 23 and runs every Tuesday after school until 5:40pm. Conclusion is a 5K Celebration on November 24 at HACC. Registration opens on August 26: gotrmidstatepa.org. Mountain View Back to School Night for 7th and 8th grade parents is this Thursday, August 29th. The program starts promptly at 6:30pm so parents should plan to arrive between 6:15-6:25 in order to have enough time to park. Parents will report directly to their child's homeroom (lists will be posted). Parents will follow their student's schedule throughout the evening, visiting each class for 8 minutes. The program will end shortly after 8:00pm. Hope to see you there!
